Default Need Chassis Identification help

I have a kart that I can't figure out the chassis identification. The model number looks a couple different things. Here are a few of the combinations that I think it might be...

1. 0q31 sp
2. cq31 sp
3. GQ31 SP
4. G031 SP

The number above this model number is "410342"

My issue is that I bought this used and I have read that the C would designate a front brake kart but it has no front brakes and only a single master cylinder. I also read through the Birel USA site that SP designates the model year 2004. Is there anything I am missing here? I am wanting to buy new parts but don't want to buy the wrong parts.

The marks you indicate CQ are fine the SP tells you the year.

Just because it does not have front brakes does not disqualify it from the opportunity to be a front brake kart. Birel produduced 10 degree spindles for front brakes. If this kart does not have the front brakes, it still has the angulation of a 10 degree front end which is necessary to run front brakes.

Parts are available.

Thanks Garry, I appreciate the immediate response. I have another quick question.

How can I tell if they are angled? Can you tell by the pictures if this is a cq? I want to either run this kart as a clone or Yamaha can class. Will this Kart work for either class? by the way, I am 200lbs.

Thanks again,
