Default M32 question

I have an M32 with a Rotax max senior motor (and have also run it with a Parilla Leopard). Total race weight is 365 to 370. I weigh 160.
I read the chassis tube primer on this site and it generally recommends i should be on a smaller tubed frame. i also have been told this at the track that the M32 is "too much chassis for me, suggesting that the power and weight combination doesn't allow the chassis to work optimally for me. Would a change in chassis construction really make that big a difference? I've had 2 karts previous to my M32 and both have been 32MM so I haven't had a chance to compare frames feel. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Also, does anyone have the baseline for the M32? The sticky above is empty.
